In conventional 'spinal measurement', the sacrum serves as the reference point. If the pelvis is not perpendicular to the patient, this misalignment cannot be detected. The 4D whole-body measurement of the BodyMapper 4D, however, reveals lateral or sagittal displacements of the pelvis or the whole body above the real perpendicular. The measurement results are automatically integrated into the software interface and visualized in 3D to capture key parameters such as pressure peaks or asymmetries of the pressure distribution.
